ARK/MO (58MU)

In less than 10 minutes from Thaden Field you can fly to an airstrips that straddles the Arkansas / Missouri border. The creek in Gordon Hollow runs year round with exceptionally clean water. Three separate camping areas connected by a walking trail along the creek provide 3 unique camping experiences.  Great swimming holes, a cave worth exploring, and a connection to the Tunnel Vision bike trail makes Ark/Mo a destination airstrip. 

A primitive FLY OZ lounge opens late in 2024, grab a guest pass for access to the lounges at the FLY OZ owned airstrips.

You do not need permission to land at ArkMo, however, it is at your own risk. Be sure to know your aircraft performance capabilities and your abilities before landing. Surface can be wet/muddy after rain, and deer and armadillos are sometimes active on the runway.
