PONCA (37AR)
Floating or hiking the trails around the Buffalo river is one of the most remarkable outdoor activities in the Ozarks. The airstrip is situated high above the Steel Creek Campground on the Buffalo National River and is owned and operated by the Buffalo Outdoor Center. A gateway to a number of outdoor activities, while there you can take a zip-lining tour, experience the longest downhill mountain biking trail in Arkansas, or take in hikes with incredible views. If you are looking for lodging for two on the airstrip call for booking the Pilot’s Quarters. To check out the airstrip lodging or to book for larger groups, go their cabins section of the website.
